Work experience

• 2021-present: Research Assistant
  • SCORE Lab, Faculty Science and Technology, University of Macau
  • Duties:
    • Developed an advanced nonlinear controller for the Flying Inverted Pendulum (FIP), an inverted pendulum mounted on an underactuated autonomous aerial vehicle that enables intricate mission execution.
    • Established practical experimental setups and implemented developed controllers in real-world applications. Utilized trajectory generation and path planning techniques to perform aggressive maneuvers, such as navigating through narrow windows.
• 2017-2019: Graduate Research Assistant
  • Development of Nonlinear Mixed H2/H Infinity Control Using Proximate In-Phase Current Estimator for Planar Stage System, Systems and Control Lab, Hanyang University
  • Duties:
    • Designed a Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode control method tailored for the precise control of a Permanent Magnet Stepper Motor within a Motor Generator Set.
    • Conducted integrity checks on the Motor Generator Set and executed experiments utilizing dSPACE to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Teaching and mentoring experience

• Spring 2019: Undergraduate Mentor
  • Hanyang University
  • Lecture: Advanced Engineering Mathematics
  • Duties:
